Abstract

When I participated in the annual festival of fiction on the Alami Afsana Forum-2020, I got to read colorful fiction as usual. Among these short stories was a unique story of Mr. Ghazanfar named “Karrwa Tail’’ on which my comments have also become part of the forum. Inspired by this story, I have read his other four short stories named “Saraswati Ashnan’’, “Khalid Ka Khatna”, “Missing Man”, and “Message Alert Tone”, and recorded my analysis I am presenting combined into one article.

These Short Stories of the amazing author immediately affect the heart. Not because of his known personality but because these stories contain all the important ingredients so that by reading, understanding, and feeling we can test the complete scenes and storylines, all the characters, and the psychology of the characters.

The context of his stories emerges from the native society. His stories deal with different levels of social problems, whether they belong to a single-family or all members of society. However, the themes of the stories appeal to the reader. As far as the characters of stories are concerned, all the characters express themselves in their space, time, and duration without boring the reader. They go on filling their own colors in the story in such a way that the whole scenario comes into sight without disturbing the central idea in terms of the nature of the events.

Important details and imagery evoke moods or feelings by making the environment colorful or gloomy as per the need. Most importantly, the writer himself presents in the text with all of his feelings, consciousness, awareness, emotions, and thoughts.

The central or other characters and the environment seem to be interconnected, and technically these pieces of literature do not seem to be fragmented. In fact, all the components are so combined to form unity by supporting each other. Moreover, the imagery appeals to the senses of the reader from beginning to end. What more could a piece of writing or literature have?

Waves of heartbreaking facts appear on or underneath the surface of the text to reveal the trampled psyche of the distressed people. The events of all the stories are probably filled with the author's inner moods. We can say that these writings are a clear picture of modern sensibility. In this context, there are joys on one side of the stories and sorrows on the other. There is grief and distorted psychology. Some people feel the burden of pain and inner turmoil, and some silent spectators temporarily lose themselves in the colors and fragrance of the artificial environment and forget themselves.

It is the perfection of creation that allows us to analyze the story through the eyes of the author's esoteric world and consciousness, as well as to enjoy the strokes of fiction by focusing on the robotic crowd moving in a straight line.

Not for a moment do you feel that the length has increased or that some end or link of the story has been broken and something has been left out of the pen? Covering major and fundamental human issues, the author summarizes them in his fiction with great beauty and meticulousness.
